Alas, practicality and an adamant husband have put this extreme love for pillows to rest. I love curling up on the couch wedged and surrounded by a pile of throw pillows, it makes me feel like I’m in a cozy little couch nest. Between me and the cats who also enjoy using the pillows, washing pillow cases is a regular chore in our household. Yet I absolutely hate putting on pillow cases after they’ve been cleaned. So much so, that I’m ok limiting the quantity to four.
Given this conundrum, we’re have a limited stack of only four pillows at a given time. I recently purchased (splurged?) on a beautifully handcrafted in silk pillow case from Turkey, but can’t bring myself to put it on the couch. It may end up framed as textile art.
